Motif — Privacy Policy

Motif collects nothing and sends nothing. The game does not request permission to access the internet, contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software development kit. Everything it records stays on your device.
This policy applies to the Android application Motif
(package com.eboops.motif), published by eBoops.
Information we collect
None. Motif does not collect, store or transmit any personal information. It asks for no name, no email address and no account. There is nothing to sign up for.
What is stored on your device
Motif saves a small amount of data locally, so that you can close the game and find it as you left it:
- your current game — board, score and trail in progress;
- your records and statistics;
- your settings, such as whether sound is on.
This data never leaves your device. It is not readable by us or by anyone else. Uninstalling the application deletes it permanently.
Internet access
Motif does not declare the INTERNET permission, which means the
Android system itself prevents the game from making any network connection. The
game is fully playable offline, and always will be.
The only permission Motif requests is VIBRATE, used for the
short haptic feedback when you pick up a symbol.
Links that leave the application
The Help menu offers two actions that open another application, and only when you choose them:
- Rate the app opens the Motif page in the Google Play Store;
- Contact us opens your email application with our address already filled in.
What happens next is governed by the privacy policy of the application that opens, not by ours. If you choose to write to us, we receive what you send: your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to answer you.
Advertising and purchases
Motif contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. No advertising network is embedded in the application, and no data is shared with any advertiser.
Children
Motif is suitable for everyone. Since the application collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Motif were to collect or transmit anything, this page would be updated before that version is published, and the date above would change. We encourage you to check it whenever the application is updated.
